You move.
The hero fights.

A survivors-like for your phone: drag to dodge through the horde. Blades, axes, lightning and holy fire go off on their own, faster and wider with every level.

Runs of about seven minutes
Survive the night, beat the boss, see the sun come up. Short enough for the bus, tense enough to miss your stop.
Built for one thumb
Portrait, one-handed controls. Your attacks fire automatically; all you decide is where to stand.
A choice every level
Pick one of three cards: a new weapon, a stronger one, or a relic that bends your build.
Plays offline
No account and no connection needed. Win or lose, your gold upgrades your heroes between runs.

Every weapon evolves.

Max a weapon, carry the right relic, open a chest. It comes out as something else. Twenty evolutions, and you can stack them in one run.

  1. Dread Reaver
  2. Executioner's Cyclone
  3. Thousand Edges
  4. Arcane Barrage
  5. Phoenix Heart
  6. Tempest Lodestone
  7. Sanctified Earth

  16. Reaper's Waltz
  17. Grand Finale
  18. Hellbound Express
  19. Event Horizon
  20. Judgment

Each one changes the screen, not just a number: Judgment turns a cross of four holy beams across the horde, Event Horizon drags a roaming singularity through it, Harvest Moon rains meteors that drop gold. The Codex keeps track of every evolution you have found.

Gameplay: four evolved weapons firing at once, beams and rings of light cutting through hundreds of skeletons.
Four evolutions at once. In-game capture from the test build.

Seven worlds. One long night.

Each world has its own horde, its own music and a boss at the end. Pick one.

Moonlit Graveyard gameplay: the hero and a skeleton horde among gravestones, coffins, pumpkins and glowing altar rings. Frozen Hollow gameplay: a blizzard hazard sweeps through the horde across snowfields, ice rocks and snowy pines. Plague Bog gameplay: the hero among zombies, toxic green pools, mushrooms and marsh trees. Drowned Cove gameplay: a tidal wave hazard rolls up the beach through the horde, palms and surf at the shore. Volcanic Forge gameplay: the hero holds off the horde between glowing lava vents and basalt cliffs. Sunscorched Ruins gameplay: the hero fights the horde in the desert temple among cacti, rocks and ruined walls. Spider Catacombs gameplay: the hero fights in the stone crypt between cobwebs, tombs and glowing altar rings.

Skeletons rise from their graves.

Final boss: Bone Lord

Elites and bosses drop chests. The rarer the chest, the more upgrades spill out of it.

  1. BronzeUsually one upgrade, now and then three.
  2. SilverOne or three, better odds of a surprise.
  3. GoldMostly three upgrades, sometimes five.
  4. RoyalNever fewer than three, often five.

Every world ends in a boss.

Hold out long enough and the ground shakes. Seven bosses, each with its own signature attacks.

Then do it again, harder.

  1. NormalWin a world to unlock its Hard tier.
  2. HardTougher, faster hordes and half again the gold. Something sleeps beneath every map, and on Hard it can be woken.
  3. NightmareBigger hordes, nastier elites, more than double the gold. Secret bosses wake more easily.

Eleven heroes. Pick yours.

Each starts with its own weapon and a trait that changes how you play. Level them up, spend talent points in their skill trees, and dress them in one of 24 skins.

  • Knight

Bulwark. Longer invulnerability after a hit, plus a knockback shockwave.

  • Barbarian

Bloodrage. Hits harder the more health he is missing; kills heal.

  • Mage

Arcane Insight. Four upgrade cards every level-up, and a free reroll.

  • Rogue

Fortune. More gold, more coin drops, twice the gold chests.

  • Hunter

Deadeye. Crit chance grows every level, and crits hit double.

  • Bone Knight

Unbreakable. Armor doubles at low health; slowly regenerates.

  • Necromancer

Soul Harvest. Kills can heal, and every hundred kills adds damage.

  • Grim Reaper

Soul Reap. Every kill stacks damage and speed, as long as you keep killing.

  • Frost Witch

Permafrost. Frost novas freeze everything close by.

  • Seraph Paladin

Guardian Angel. A near-fatal hit becomes a big heal and a holy blast.

  • The Captain

Powder Keg. Drops exploding powder kegs, and earns extra gold.

Skins change the whole hero, not just a colour: the Captain as the Kraken Lord, the Knight as a Pumpkin Knight, the Frost Witch as the Blizzard Queen, the Necromancer as a Blood Lich, the Grim Reaper as a Spectral.

In-game home screen: The Captain wearing the Kraken Lord skin.
